I have spent my life hunting and now my adult children are hunters as well so we are always looking for things to add to our collection. This chair should get the job done for most of what we were thinking and its relatively lightweight so it shouldn't encumber us if we are hiking around. I do wish that it had a better way to carry it like a set of backpack straps because it could get to be a bit tedious. I also wish that the backrest was angled just a little bit further back because it really sits straight up and down if not a bit forward. In my testing I have found that it gets a bit uncomfortable for longer durations but its something that we will just have to work around and figure out. I like the little pouch underneath for storing stuff and it will definitely come in handy. The price is definitely on the high end of what someone should be asked to pay for a basic chair but its still within the range of acceptability. If something does come up or if the chair breaks during use, I will be sure to come back and update my review.

I have been searching for a swivel chair for my ground blind for YEARS. Why? Because I have short little legs, short little T-Rex arms, and a very long torso. Every other chair out there is made for giants. I've paid thousands of dollars at this point for a chair I thought would work only to find the lowest setting is still too tall.

I'm serious about hunting when I hunt. If I'm going out there, I'm going to sit from sun up to sun down. That's a long time to sit on a chair that cuts off your circulation! But I think this one is going to work. I'm actually sitting on it at my computer (because that's the longest I sit anywhere) to see if it's good. So far (after a few hours of sitting on and off), it seems like it will work for me.

It's fairly comfortable, though it's narrow with no arms, so napping will be a no-go! LOL It's just a hair, or maybe even a half a hair too tall, but I think once the cushion squashes down a bit from my fat fanny it will be just right.

It's not too terribly heavy, but I won't be carrying it all over the woods with me. While it's a nice gesture, I don't need the bag under the seat. It appears to be just velcro'd on, so should be easily removed. The carry strap will be a problem. It works and is fairl heavy-duty, but because of where it's attached, when you swivel the chair the strap rubs on the seat and makes noise. I didn't have a lot of time to see if it can be moved when it arrived, so that will be a task for today!

I haven't had it in the woods yet, but I intend to set up my blind in the back yard and sit there to "see what I can see". I'll set the chair up for practice. If I have any issues with stability or comfort, I'll update this review.

Finally a folding chair that feels like more than chair than a cot. Both the back and seat are padded and quite comfortable. It rotates 360 degrees has an attached bag. It is reasonably lightweight and easy to move around. A great buy for campers or hunters or just to take to the park. Good value for the price and I would buy it again.

Hunting Chair FAQs

Which FUNHORUN hunting chair is right for me?

Choose based on how and where you hunt. A 360° swivel hunting chair is ideal for long sits inside a ground blind, while a low-profile turkey chair is better for mobile hunts and ground-level concealment. If you need additional storage or gear organization, choose a chair with integrated holders, pockets or a cooler bag.

Are FUNHORUN hunting chairs easy to carry?

Most models feature a folding or packable design, but portability varies. Low-profile chairs are generally lighter and better for mobile hunting. Heavy-duty swivel chairs provide more support and adjustability but are better suited to semi-permanent blind setups or shorter carrying distances.

How do I keep my hunting chair quiet?

Keep joints and rotating components clean, tighten loose hardware before each trip and avoid attaching equipment that may knock against the frame. Remove dirt, leaves and debris after use. For swivel models, regularly check the rotating mechanism to maintain smooth and quiet movement.

How should I clean and store my hunting chair?

Brush away loose dirt and wipe the frame and fabric with a damp cloth. Allow the chair to dry completely before folding or storing it. Keep it in a dry area away from prolonged sunlight and moisture. Always follow the individual product’s care instructions for removable fabric or camouflage covers.

Can these chairs be used for activities other than hunting?

Yes. Depending on the model, FUNHORUN chairs can also be used for fishing, camping, wildlife observation and other outdoor activities. The AnglerStation is especially useful for fishing because it combines seating with convenient storage and gear-holding features.
