I will start by saying that this seat is far more substantial and sturdy than I thought it was going to be. I really figured it would just be a simple pad on top of a standard 5-gallon-bucket lid. But no, this is a proper, molded seat with ample cushioning and some overall heft to the seat. Like, it's substantial. Almost too much so because it is weighty by itself, so it's not exactly something light to carry along with a portable blind. This is more like a seat that would be kept at a more permanent blind, and perhaps the 5-gallon-bucket is the thing getting carried in along with whatever supplies are needed that can be carried in the bucket. But whatever the scenario is, this seat is going to be far more comfortable than just sitting on a bucket, and it will definitely make the long-process of waiting for game to wander by easier to endure. The only reason this is a 4-star rather than a 5-star item for me is the price as it was listed for $39.99 when I ordered it. Now like I said, this does feel well made and it feels sturdy, but $39.99 just feels like too high a price when I can get an entire hunting chair for that price or less. This really only functions if I provide a 5-gallon-bucket to go along with it, which ultimately just increases the combined total price. I think this is a good product, just too expensive at the current listing price.

The seat has plenty of padding and the curved shape feels much better than sitting on a plain bucket lid for any length of time. The swivel feature is what sets it apart. It rotates smoothly, stays quiet, and lets me change position without dragging the bucket around. The fit on my bucket was secure and the seat felt steady while turning. The camo cover looks good, the removable cover is handy, and the whole setup travels easily with the rest of my hunting equipment.

This is my new favorite portable seat! I actually use it for gardening and it has been very helpful for my back. It is lightweight and easy to haul around the yard for me personally. It is a tad bulky so nit sure how much I'd enjoy carrying it around in nature but for short distances it's absolutely fine!
It's nice and cushy, easy to set up and dismantle in a pinch, and it makes me feel very stable, which is very important to me as I suffer from vertigo. I'm very pleased with this bucket seat so far and find it well worth the price!
