As I have gotten older the traditional tree stands just don't work for me and this is ideal I love it
Very well made. Installation instructions are clear. I loved the fact that bolts were separated and number coded for each step. I did notice, the blind window opening are too low. I am 5'7" and sitting on a bucket, I couldn't see out the top of windows. I still think it is a good value for the price.
I was quite skeptical of the stability and durability of this stand based on the price. But it turned out to be an amazing value. I have simple ladder stands that cost more than this thing and are less stable and less durable. Setup was fairly straightforward. Directions were easy to follow. I would recommend assembling about where you want it, though, as it is awkward to move. Luckily only had to move mine about 50 yards to where I wanted it positioned, but I was able to do that fairly easily with just my middle-school aged childrens' help. This thing has held up through some nasty weather and I took my first deer from it this past season.
Well built and sturdy stand. Easy to assemble as the parts are all clearly labeled and match up to the instructions. Others have commented on the height of the windows. I am 6'2" and yes the windows sit a little low when you are in your hunting chair. To remedy this, I cut a small hole above the 2 front windows and used twine to lift the window up about 2-3 inches and tied the twine to the overhead bar. Simple fix and increases visibility without having to lean so far over. I also added an outdoor rug and some waterproofing spray to the cover just in case.. sat there on a cold rainy day with my heater with no issues.
