This chair is comfortable and would make a day in the woods very easy. It is very well made, sturdy, strong, and I can easily believe that this chair would accommodate up to 300 pounds. The leg bases are nice and large to ensure you don't sink into the ground. For these attributes I would give it five stars. However, the strength comes at a cost. That cost is the weight that allows the chair to be so strong. The leg assembly does unscrew from the chair base to make transport easier, but it is still a little bulky. For these attributes I would give this chair 4 stars. I would give this chair 4 1/2 stars if that was possible as the average rating. Overall, this is a well made, strong, and sturdy chair and if you are over 225 pounds, this chair should work perfect for you without any concerns of the chairs ability to hold up. If you don't mind packing in the additional weight (about 20 pounds) then this is the hunting chair for you!

Since hunting season hasn’t started yet, I can’t comment on the longevity of this chair. However, I can comment on its construction and quality out of the box. It’s easy to put together, taking about 30 seconds to screw the base into the bottom of the chair by hand. The legs are sturdy and pivot at the bottom. They independently move up and down, which is good for uneven spots. The chair is comfortable and has independent arms that lock into place. I haven’t noticed them coming unlatched, but I haven’t used the chair yet for an extended period. It’s slightly heavy at 21 lbs when you consider the other gear needed to carry as well. However, the weight gives it sturdiness once in place. I like that the camo material can be removed for cleaning. Overall, this is a solid option for a shooting house or ground blind.

Nice chair although quite heavy for portable chair.

Overall great share. Is great to be able to check my entire area front, sides and behind me for game and make no noise! Also, you can't beat the independently adjustable legs with ducks feet. However, the chair is too heavy. The center threaded spindle is made of steel which makes this chair very heavy and the stud the screws into the bottom of the chair does not need to be so long. The extra length makes the chair too high. Modifications were necessary to make the chair work correctly. 5 threads are plenty to hold the chair together for sitting in one spot. The center spindle should be made of aluminum which would take about 10 lb off the weight of this chair. Also the carrying strap is very awkward . I had to purchase a backpack rig carrier for it. Funhorun, cudos for building a good and comfortable chair. Maybe consider these upgrades for the next model of this chair. Thank you.

Sturdy. Heavy… but lacking lumbar support. Bought one a while back different company. Nice this one is not that one. It’s good I wish I had done my homework. After several hours it’s not as comfortable.

It’s a little heavier than I would have preferred but the adjustability and comfort make the extra weight worth it. It’s very sturdy.

Quiet and durable but a bit bulky and too heavy to be easily portable.

This hunting chair is widely adjustable in the arm rests, chair height, and foot pad leveling. The thick but durable chair leg attachment make this an extremely sturdy chair, but it also makes this chair heavy. In practice, may be preferred to keep this chair assembled and in place in a hunting blind, because disassembling the legs from the chair to carry every time is a bit of effort. I used a large crescent wrench to tighten the legs down all the way, because the chair swiveled easily and the giant chair bolt did not turn easily in my hand. The portability of this chair imo is fairly low, since it is heavy and if the legs are not taken down, very bulky. But overall, when using this chair, it seems to be comfortable, quiet, and adjustable to make this an excellent hunting chair. I'd give this chair a 4.5 star if that were a possibility.
